Issue 2
- The Three Rules of Work
1. Out of clutter, find simplicity.
2. From discord, find harmony.
3. In the middle of difficulty, lies opportunity.
- If you want to touch the past TOUCH A ROCK.
If you want to touch the present TOUCH A ROSE.
If you want to touch the future TOUCH A LIFE.
- It is one of the blessings of old friends that you can afford to be stupid
with them.
- With a sweet tongue and kindness,
you can drag an elephant by a hair.
- You will never be happy if you continue to search
for what happiness consists of. You will never
live if you are looking for the meaning of life.
- We praise a man who feels angry on the right grounds and
against the right persons and also in the right manner
at the right moment and for the right length of time.
- If the only tool you have is a hammer,
you tend to treat everything as if it were a nail.
- Our doubts are traitors
And make us lose the good we oft might win
By fearing to attempt.
- I believe in the Sun,
Even when it's not shining.
I believe in Love,
Even when I feel it not.
I believe in God,
Even when he is silent.
- Life is a tragedy for those who feel,
and a comedy for those who think.
- Yesterday is but today's memory,
and tomorrow is today's dream.
- We like someone because.
We love someone although.
- Yesterday is a cancelled check.
Tomorrow is a promisorry note.
Today is cash... spend it wisely.
- As a rule, man is a fool.
When it's hot, he wants it cool;
When its cool, he wants it hot.
Always wanting, what is not.
- You can buy people's time;
you can buy their physical presence at a given place;
you can even buy a measured number of their skilled muscular motions per hour.
But you cannot buy enthusiasm ... you cannot buy loyalty ...
you cannot buy the devotion of hearts, minds and souls. You must earn these.
