- The wise man must remember that
while he is a descendant of the past,
he is a parent of the future.

purposes go forth in action;
actions form habits;
habits decide character;
and character fixes our destiny.

A hostile person lives in a hostile world;
everyone you meet is your mirror.
- Faith has to do with things that are not seen,
and hope with things that are not in hand.
- The men who try to do something and fail
are infinitely better than those who
try to do nothing and succeed.
