Issue 110
- There is no road too long to the man
who advances deliberately and without undue haste;
there are no honors too distant to the man
who prepares himself for them with patience.
- Most people give up just when
they're about to achieve success.
They quit on the one yard line.
They give up at the last minute of the game,
one foot from a winning touchdown.
- Perhaps you cannot be a star;
but you need not be a cloud.
- There are no mistakes, no coincidences.
All events are blessings given to us to learn from.
- Laughing at our mistakes can lengthen our own life.
Laughing at someone else's can shorten it!
- Your words are heard with the ears,
But understood with the heart.
- You may be disappointed if you fail,
but you are doomed if you don't try.
- Argue for your limitations and,
sure enough, they're yours.
- The way a man wins shows most of his character,
The way he loses shows all of it.
