Reggie Miller (b.1965,) fully Reginald Wayne Miller, is a retired American professional basketball player. He played his entire 18-year National Basketball Association (NBA) career with the Indiana Pacers. Miller is known for his accurate three-point shooting, particularly in pressure situations.
Born in Riverside, California, Miller overcame a hip deformity that instigated severely splayed feet. He was the first NBA player to score 2,200 three-pointers and holds the NBA record for most consecutive seasons with at least 100 three-pointers. During the eleven seasons between 1989 and 2000, Miller averaged between 18.1 points and 24.6 points per game.
Miller was a member of the Dream Team III, the United States men’s basketball team that won a gold medal in the 1996 Summer Olympics. His elder sister Cheryl earned a gold medal as part of the United States women’s basketball team during the 1984 Summer Olympics.
