Inspirational Quotes by Robert H. Schuller (American Televangelist, Author)

Robert Harold Schuller (1926–2015) was an American Christian televangelist, pastor, motivational speaker, and author. He was principally known for his weekly Hour of Power television program 1970–2010.

Born near Alton, Iowa, Schuller was an ordained minister of the Reformed Church in America. He was a prominent megachurch pastor, a popular televangelist, and a foremost proponent of “possibility thinking.” Related closely to the “positive thinking” movement of his mentor Norman Vincent Peale, Schuller’s “possibility thinking” message synthesized therapeutic psychology, mind conditioning, New Thought, and positive biblical texts.

Schuller Hour of Power program was one of the most popular and long-standing television ministries produced in America. He had a colossal impact upon popular American religion since 1960.

Schuller produced over 30 books, six of which have made The New York Times and Publishers Weekly bestseller lists. His notable works include Peace of Mind with Possibility Thinking (1977,) Living Powerfully One Day at a Time (1982,) The Be Happy Attitudes (2002,) Tough Times Never Last, But Tough People Do (2006) and the autobiography Prayer: My Soul’s Adventure With God (1995.)
