Robin Sharma (b.1965) is a Canadian bestselling author, motivational speaker, and internationally-renowned life coach.

Trained as a lawyer, Sharma’s self-published MegaLiving (1994) was a best seller in his native Canada. He self-published The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari (1996,) which later got wider distribution through HarperCollins.

Sharma’s The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari features the fable of Julian Mantle. He is a celebrity lawyer whose intense job, fanatical ambition, and chaotic lifestyle results in a heart attack. Mantle then retools his entire life with a focus on spiritual wellbeing.

Sharma’s message of living life more fully and joyously by tending to relationships and finding success within ourselves made The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari an international best-seller. It sold more than four million copies in fifty-one languages.

Sharma has published 11 other books, including The Leader Who Had No Title (2010.)
