Sarah Louise “Sadie” Delany (1889–1999) was an American educator and author. She was the first African American home economics teacher in white New York schools.

Born in Lynch’s Station, Virginia, Delany wrote, with her sister Bessie and journalist Amy Hill Hearth, Having Our Say: The Delany Sisters’ First 100 Years (1993.) A New York Times best-seller, it recounted the sisters’ experiences growing up in the segregated South and later in New York. The book was adapted into a Broadway play in 1995 and The Delany Sisters’ Book of Everyday Wisdom (1994.)

After Bessie died in 1995, Sadie wrote a third book called On My Own.
